Denise PlaisierI describe this time of my life as "learning to live with fire inside," to quote Anne Hillman. Now ignited, I continue my lifelong quest of becoming more and more intimate with a Love greater than my heart can hold and to learn to behold Presence in all things and situations. The fuel that keeps the Fire burning is this growing awareness of how all of life is divinely interconnected and held together in Love.
It is this Love that calls me to the devotional practices of Centering Prayer, yoga, nature hikes, playing with various crafts, and living in community in order to grow and tend to this fire within. The energy of Love enlivens my work as a physician assistant for the marginalized and underserved. One major player in this ever-evolving dance with Love is the Stillpoint community where it has been my joy and honor to serve as one of its core members for several years. I extend a heartfelt welcome to all who join us, whether for a day or for the years to come. May you find here a blessing of warm hospitality, companionship for your spiritual journey and a deepening awareness of how loved and precious you are. |
