"Fall in love,
stay in love,
and it will decide everything."
Pedro Arrupe, S.J.
Deeply influenced by the Christian mystical tradition, my spirituality centers around experiences of being known and held in the Mystery of unconditional Love and Mercy. Franciscan, Ignatian and Celtic spirituality have fostered my desire to "see" how all of life and all forms of life are interconnected and revelatory of Indwelling Presence.
Even though spiritual direction has been a part of my own journey for many years, it continues to help me listen to Mary Oliver's question "what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life". Companioning others in spiritual direction who experience a desire to explore how to notice and honor their inner longings energizes the core of my being.
Ilia Delio, Richard Rohr, Thomas Keating, Mary Evelyn Tucker, Rumi and Mother Earth are some of the mentors who serve me well in my deep desire to continue to grow and evolve.
My participation in Multifaith Network for Climate Justice, mncj.org, allows me to actively engage with people in the Bellingham area committed to caring for the Earth, our common home.
Being a part of the Stillpoint community, hiking/snowshoeing with Don, my husband, and sharing our lives with our son and his family are all sources of great Joy to me!
