Exploring the Celtic Wheel
Saturday, October 30, 9:00am - 12:00
Life is an ever shifting rhythm of becoming and giving way. This online event will provide an experience for exploring how the Celtic Wheel of the Year is an invitation into awareness--deep awareness of the ever spinning circle of life. This event takes place on Samhain, a Gaelic/Celtic festival marking the end of the harvest season and beginning of winter. During our time together we'll pause to notice and honor the seasonal shift happening within and around us.
Through the practice of ritual and remembering, we'll move into the season of darkness with intention. We'll explore the Celtic Wheel through explorations of the elements, the directions, the seasons, the symbol of the circle, and our innate creativity.
Facilitator: Summer Cushman, M.Div, C-IAYT, is an artist, minister, yoga teacher, and yoga therapist.
All her work is dedicated to helping people live their everyday lives with intention, meaning, and mystery.
